Prior
Mason
Nonetheless it was a very exciting weekend for the boys (or at least for mom...) Prior and Mason had their very first real meal. First up on the menu: green beans and bananas. My first attempt at making the boys' baby food was a success - even though it would be hard to ruin green beans pureed in a blender. The boys even like the green beans better than cereal.
Top the green beans and bananas off with sippy cups and you've got yourself two grown up little boys and some green stinky diapers!
Hi Kristin!
ReplyDeleteMy name is Julie Quandt and I live in Grimes Iowa. My husband Nick Quandt grew up in Willie Iowa and his aunt Peggy Weitl works with your mother in law at the courthouse in Carroll. Nick and your husband are about the same age. Wow, that was a lot of information--I hope you're not completely confused now! Anyway, we have identical twin boys that just turned two in June. The boys and I were able to talk to your mother in law a couple of months ago at the courthouse and I saw adorable pictures of Prior and Mason. Then I started looking at your blog.
I know we have never met but I just wanted to let you know that you are doing a great job as a mommy. It seems like we have gone through a lot of the same things. Bedrest, NICU, Synagis, the list goes on. Twins are such a blessing and even though life is a little crazy I wouldn't have it any other way. It seems like now that we have hit the "age two" mark it has gotten a little easier. They are more mobile (good and bad) and not so dependent on mommy (good and bad also). It is fun to read your blog because of the memories it brings back when we were going through those things not too long ago.
I just wanted to say hello. We have a blog as well however it is private. If you would like to follow our blog, just send me an e-mail and we will get you hooked up. My e-mail address is jules277@msn.com. Take care and hope to hear from you soon!
