Thank*ful*ness

Thanksgiving is probably my favorite holiday. Relaxation, food, and lots of family time.

So many things to be thankful for. I truly feel like the luckiest person in the world every single day because of these two little boys.

We had such a fun weekend. My mom and I shared the cooking duties so it was totally stress-free....and so yummy!

Apparently the boys don't remember last year's turkey. This is the "mom - what the hell is that thing" look. It is so fun to be a part of all of their "firsts". They crack me up!

What could possibly be better than the Thanksgiving Day Parade parade (um - Mom, you're in the way of the TV) and a little strawberry milk to hold you over until the big meal?

The spread. The boys don't typically get many options. So they literally stared at the plate for the first several minutes and looked at me a bit confused.

They definitely did not appreciate this meal as much this year as they will in years to come.

Notice the most important condiment - the ketchup.
Most meals these days get sent back to the kitchen without it.

I've mentioned this before - but the boys really like strawberry milk. And by really, I mean really. I'd love to say it's a secret family recipe but it's nothing more than than frozen strawberries thrown in a blender with organic 2% milk). Their excitement level over something so simple is absolutely hilarious.

This video captures a fraction of their excitement. Those of you who have seen it first hand know exactly what I'm talking about.
