P&M are starting to attempt to say lots of words, too. Rarely do the words sound like anything other than the first syllable, but you have to start somewhere, right?!
The boys are also combining signs with words. And when Prior really really really wants something, he resorts to a desperate "PEEEE" (please) and an over exaggerated "sign" for please. The sign for please is below:
And here's PRIOR's version, which includes both hands and rubbing his entire front side:
PEEEEEEASE! from K Schultes on Vimeo.
And it is very effective! It's hard to say no to that!
Love it! My kids knew those exact same signs and it was perfect. I remember them doing the same thing with exaggeration when it came to more too:) Max knew a few more b/c of daycare, but Mya just had the basics and that was all we needed until she started talking more.
ReplyDeleteNot sure if I'll get to the fest this year or not. I'm playing in a tennis tournament and it's sat/sun so if we lose we're thinking about coming up on saturday evening. Honestly kind of hoping we lose!
